Meet Brian Botti
A lifelong resident of the Derby-Shelton area and your dedicated real estate professional for over two decades.
Brian Botti
REALTOR® · Botti Realty Inc · Derby, CTI grew up watching Derby change — the neighborhoods, the families, the businesses coming and going along Main Street and beyond. I've seen what makes this community tick, and I've built my real estate practice entirely around that understanding. When you work with me, you're not just getting an agent who can look up comps. You're getting someone who has personally walked nearly every street between Derby and Naugatuck, who knows which blocks in Ansonia are appreciating fastest, and who can tell you the real story behind any listing.
After graduating from Derby High School and earning my degree from Southern Connecticut State University, I started my career in finance before being drawn back to the neighborhoods that shaped me. I earned my real estate license in 2002 and founded Botti Realty Inc shortly after — a deliberate choice to keep my practice local, personal, and deeply rooted in the communities I serve.
Over the past 22 years, I've helped more than 200 families buy and sell homes across Derby, Shelton, Ansonia, Seymour, Naugatuck, and throughout New Haven County. My philosophy is simple: real estate is about people, not transactions. I take the time to understand what you truly need — not just the number of bedrooms, but where you want to be in five years and what kind of community you want to raise your family in.
The numbers have been kind to my clients. Homes I list typically sell for 3.2% above asking price and go under contract in an average of 19 days. For buyers, I've negotiated well below asking on competitive properties by understanding when sellers are motivated and when they're not. But beyond the numbers, I'm most proud of the calls I get years later — clients who bought their first home with my help and are now ready to upgrade, or sellers who trusted me with their parents' estate and want to say thank you.

Rooted in the Derby Community
Real estate isn't just Brian's profession — it's his way of giving back to the community that raised him. He serves on the Derby Economic Development Commission, sponsors youth baseball in the Derby-Shelton area, and volunteers annually at the Ansonia food pantry.
Brian believes that strong neighborhoods are built one home, one family, and one transaction at a time. Every closing is an investment in the community he loves. That's why he's committed to honest pricing, ethical practice, and representing every client — buyer or seller — with the care they deserve.
When Brian isn't helping clients find their perfect home, you'll find him hiking the trails of Naugatuck State Forest, watching his kids' Little League games at Birmingham Field, or enjoying breakfast at a local Derby diner where he's known by name.
